Do any of you guys know how to make a dried out fluidline new like? Is there anything I can do/mix in?
I have a blacktrack and dipdown that I've had for a while, over a year, barely used but I wanted to start using it again but it's just too dry and it crumbles when I try putting it on something.
TY

Can anyone help? I know there have been a couple of posts about where to search for apartments and how absolutely craptastic craigslist is (btw can someone please fix that) but I have kind of specific questions too.
I am new to searching for apartments and I think I am in a fantasy world here.
I am looking for an apartment on the upper east side below 96th for $1400-1800. I have 2 places to go see on saturday but I was wondering if its possible to kind of wing it and just wander around and find a building that might have an available apartment? Can you go into buildings and ask if there are any available apartments? Is that possible? Do buildings have on site management offices? Does anyone know of any vacancies in their buildings? or good buildings to look into?
Also, which makes the search harder, we are trying to find no fee apartments.

has anyone used this?
or this?
if so, how was/were it/they (coverage, finish, quality, etc)?
and when you buy tinted moisturizer, do you buy it 1-2 shades lighter than your actual skintone?
i have normal-to-oily skin, so would either of these work on me?
also i read on here about how spf in foundation makes women of colour look ashy, does the same go for tinted moisturizer? i'm close to the shade of honey bisque seen here, maybe a bit more yelllow,
ohhh, and how illuminating is the BE mineral veil?

Ok I know this is a weird question considering the fact that I have had a HELLA amount of weaves in my day (as a matter of fact I am putting in some hair as we speak errr type), but I was just watching this silly show called Charm School on VH1 and I saw that one of the “students” was talking about a lace weave? Like from what I understand it looks like the weave is sewn on a net thing so you can sew the hair all the way up on the head instead of just sewing it underneath like to you when you connect the hair to braids.
How does that work?
How long can you wear it?
Could I make this lace/net thing myself?
Also if anyone has any links about this kind of hair extension, please hook me up!

Does anyone know where I can buy rubber bands at this hour? I'm looking for a medium sized brown (or light tan) elastic rubber band, the type of elastic rubber bands that are not too loose but again not small and too tight either. I'm kind of desperate to get them tonight and any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've read the entries re: everyone's preferred banks, and they were really helpful. However, I wanted to throw some specifics in there just to weed out those that wouldn't be applicable to me.
I'm from California, and I've used Wells Fargo for a very long time. Their online system is accessible, nary a mystery fee, and the one time I lost a debit card I had a new one within the week.
I'm really fond of online banking--I usually use my Wells Fargo online account to make payments and transfers between checking, savings, and my credit card at least twice any given week. I also love a bank with generous (or at least decent) weekend hours; one of my qualms with HSBC is that my local branch is only open for three hours on Saturdays. Any bank that stayed open until four or five would be amazing.
Are there any banks with ATMs in Brooklyn or Queens that have reliable, idiot-proof online banking and would still be open after you've had an opportunity to sleep in? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks guys!

I have a few question for your guys.
First off, I've been searching forever for a good foundation. I have tried all of the store brand names (CG, Rimmel, Revlon, Maybelline..etc). I even tried a tinted moisturizer (Revlon skinlights) and my face looked greasy! If anyone can help me find a good foundation that's possibly a tinted moisturizer, that'd be cool. By the way, I can only afford those brands listed (in other words, no I can't shell out the $20+ it'd cost me to go to a department store).
Also, if anyone has any suggestions or info about Fantastic Sam's, that'd be helpful too. I was planning on going there Monday to get my hair cut because a friend told me they were good. Today I heard from someone else that they aren't! I don't know who to believe and I would like to find a place that can actually cut hair. I've been to THREE places in the area that have all screwed up on a pretty easy hair cut (a-line cut).
Edit: I just sent for the trial version of everyday minerals.

Is there really an amazing shampoo/anything that makes your hair grow faster? I really wish for my hair to be longer...but it takes FOREVER to grow.
what's the best comb for teasing hair? Just a rat-tail comb?
shoping the victoria secret semi-annual sale in the store or online?
i always end up doing both. which isnt good for the wallet.
online is more organized, of course, and still fun - but shipping! in store feels like theres more stuff...yanno? what do you think?

I went to the dentist today and my gums were bleeding like crazy, they usually do when I floss. The dental hygienist asked if I was on birth control, I said yes, and she mentioned that many types of bc pills can cause gums to bleed more. I thought that was interesting.
Why, hello there. I disappeared for a few weeks (well, probably not more than three - does that count as a few?) but now I am back! I went for Utah for two weeks with my family, and we backpacked and camped and climbed mountains, and had a really astoundingly beautiful time BUT no internet access. So, sorry if you missed me, but here are ( 32 exciting and scenic photos ) to make up for it.
Oh, and it appears as if five hundred crazy new people decided to take a stab at applying here while I was gone. Weird. I'm kind of sad I missed the rush.

Where can I find colorful, long-sleeve, not cropped, cardigans? I'd prefer actual stores, but online's okay too. I feel like most stores lately only have boring colors like gray and black, or only have three-quarter length sleeves/are cropped (which makes sense since it's spring/summer, but still!) I've searched the usual stores that have them, but of course when I'm looking for something, it's never there, you know?!
Thanks!
Thanks!
I know a lot of these questions have been asked lately, but I can't find one that helps me out in the memories. I'm on perscription acne med. (Clindamyacin and differin) and I want to go to the beach tomorrow, but I'm scared of getting really really burnt as Even before the medication I got burnt very easily. So any help would be great. And I'm probably going to be surfing so I won't be able to just wear a hat.
I live in a city and walk around a lot to get to classes and such, so I'd like some nice, flat, closed-toe and closed-heel shoes that are comfy to walk in during the summer. Open shoes (particularly those without a back/closed heel) make it hard for me to walk as fast as I'd like.
Some people have suggested those Sperry shoes, but I don't really like how they look. I also hate the typical flats/ballet slipper shoes that have been all the rage the last year or two. Chucks give me blisters.
So, any suggestions?
